Education

I have a BA in psychology from Simon Fraser University and an MA and PhD in Counselling Psychology from the University of British Columbia.

I graduated from the Seattle Institute for Psychoanalysis' Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Program in 1994.

I am currently a Psychoanalytic Candidate in the Vancouver Institute for Psychoanalysis.

I also attended the Gestalt Institute of Vancouver and took advanced training in Group Leadership, Life Review, Psychodrama, Therapeutic Enactment, and EMDR through the British Columbia School of Professional Psychology.

I have attended numerous seminars focusing on many different types of cognitive-behavioral short-term therapies and many different types of issues affecting all ages.
