I have been engaged in clinical work and teaching since 1983.
In Delta I directed a Suicide Prevention Program for ten years, offered Couple and Family Counselling through Delta Mental Health, provided counselling in schools, developed a private practice and founded the
Delta Professional Psychology and Counselling Group, through which I still offer services with a number of clinical associates. I provided Family Therapy
through Family and Youth Services Society in Langley since 1993. I am a registered service provided with Employee Assistance Programs for Health Canada,
Family Services of Greater Vancouver, Worker's Compensation, BC Hydro, and many others. I have provided services as a Child and Adolescent Psychologist
with North Shore Health since 1997. I have taught at Douglas College and at both the undergraduate and graduate levels at the University of British
Columbia since 1993. I also taught a graduate clinic at the Kelowna General Hospital as part of a UBC extension program for two years.
I currently teach and supervise a clinic course for masters and doctoral students offering services to the public through a UBC Counselling Psychology Program.
In addition to my clinical work I have also been involved in organizational work. I helped found the Vancouver College of Counsellor Training where I now provide
services as Academic Director, and I served on the Registration Committee of the College of Psychologists for a three year term. |
